Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president and senior leader KTR (K.T. Rama Rao) met Telangana Chief Minister A. There has been a strong attack on Revanth Reddy and Congress Party. While addressing an election rally, KTR raised questions on CM Revanth’s education, his English speaking style and political character. He said that if his party had done politics like Congress in the last 10 years, then Congress would not have survived today.
KTR made a sharp comment in the program and said, ‘If you have courage, try touching the platforms of BRS party.’ Taking a jibe at the current functioning of the Congress, he said that if BRS had also done this kind of politics 10 years ago, would the Congress party have survived till today? This statement is being considered a strong response from KTR amid the attacks on BRS by BJP and Congress in the state.
Chief Minister and police officers warned on KTR
The BRS leader accused the Chief Minister of having an identity crisis. He said that Revanth Reddy is so insecure that he put an actor in jail because he forgot his name. KTR alleged that the CM’s job is only to issue GOs (government orders) and he gives GOs only when film heroes come to meet him.
KTR warned Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and police officials that whatever they are doing will be remembered and they will regret it after BRS comes back to power and the party will win the next elections again without any doubt.

The most talked about statement was given by KTR regarding Revanth Reddy’s recent ‘Harvard’ visit. He said, ‘Will speaking of such derogatory language stop after going to Harvard and studying? This has to be seen. KTR directly targeted Revanth’s English arrogance. He said, ‘You are going to Harvard and speaking in English and taunting us by calling us bathroom cleaners.’ This comment is a reference to the controversy in which Congress leaders compared BRS leaders to sweepers or other service workers.
These statements of KTR are increasing the tension in Telangana politics. In view of the upcoming elections and assembly session in the state, the series of allegations and counter-allegations is going on between the two parties, where educational qualification and choice of words have also become an issue of politics.
