All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has given a statement regarding the Speaker in the House on Wednesday. During this, he also talked about ending the independence of the House. He also mentioned the thoughts of Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi. The no-confidence motion brought against Om Birla in the Lok Sabha has been rejected.
Owaisi said that tomorrow we, Chandrashekhar (don’t know whether Pappu Yadav will come along or not) are going to move a motion. Hanuman Beniwal should be made the deputy speaker. Owaisi said that when the proposal was brought against the Speaker, we were not asked. While starting his speech, he said that a poet has rightly said that the blessings would have been delayed for a long time.
Owaisi said that there is separation of power in our country. Speaker has the sixth position in our country. Is equal to CJI. The speaker has no eyes. The speaker has no ears. When he sees, he sees through the eyes of the legislature. He hears through the ears, then he hears through the ears of the Legislature. We are members of an independent House. We are not workers of any political party. The speaker is answerable to us. The government is accountable to us. We are going to make a motion tomorrow, whether I, Chandrashekhar, Pappu Yadav will come tomorrow or not. Don’t know. Hanuman Beniwal should be made the deputy speaker.

Will we become slaves in the name of opposition unity?
Our problem is that the leader of the house is from NDA. The leader is the opposition, he belongs to his block. Where will we go? We were not asked while signing. In the name of opposition unity against the Speaker, we will become slaves. We will not become slaves. We were not asked even during the election of the Vice President.
Opposition leader cornered by reciting poetry
Owaisi said that a poet has said it very well, about the Leader of Opposition, he said that in your eyes I have no value; Ask about my value from those who don’t have it. In the end, Owaisi accused the party and the opposition of running the House as per their wish. Owaisi’s entire speech was on one side attacking the running of the House.
Questions raised on Jagdambika Pal’s presidency in the House
Earlier on Tuesday, Owaisi had raised a point of order in the House. In this he also raised questions on the legality of BJP MP Jagdambika Pal presiding over the no-confidence motion.
Owaisi had said that Pal, who was appointed by the Speaker, cannot preside over the debate on the confidence motion. He cited Articles 95 and 96 of the Constitution. Articles 95 and 96 of the Constitution deal with the duties of both the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker, and who presides over the meeting when either office is vacant or a motion for removal is under consideration.
AIMIM Chief had accused the government of committing constitutional irregularities. He had said that Sir, you (MP Jagdambika Pal) is sitting on the chair. You have been appointed by the speaker. I believe that you cannot take this action sitting there. The House’s stand should be taken. Rule 10 cannot overtake Articles 95 and 96 of the Constitution, sir. This government has made a constitutional mess.
