As glamorous as the world of TV looks from outside, it is equally tiring from inside. Daily shooting, long hours and constant pressure breaks the artistes mentally and physically. For this reason, well-known TV actor Karan Patel had decided to stay away from daily shows for some time. Recently he has spoken openly to IANS about this.
Feeling life in auto pilot mode
Karan Patel told that there came a time when he felt that he was working continuously without thinking. He was feeling like he was in auto pilot mode where every day passed the same and gradually he forgot what he really wanted from his life. He admitted that he loves daily soaps very much but this work is very tiring both physically and mentally.
Break means connecting with yourself
Karan clarified that this decision was not due to sudden fatigue. He said that he wanted to reconnect with himself and re-experience life outside the four walls of the set. According to him, this break is not a way to leave work but a way to balance oneself and change one’s perspective. Every person should stop sometimes and understand what he is doing and why he is doing it.
Energy and learning from the early days
Recalling his long career, Karan said that he was very energetic in the initial days. Wanted to prove himself in every situation and wanted to move forward quickly. There was a lack of patience at that time but time and experience taught him that the real key to success is patience and humility. He further said that it is more important to keep moving forward in the right direction than running fast in one’s career.
