Discussion on strengthening India-Israel interests

PM Netanyahu called Prime Minister Modi and both the leaders expressed satisfaction at the continued progress in the India-Israel strategic partnership. Apart from this, PM Modi and Netanyahu reiterated their commitment to further strengthen these relations for mutual interests. Both leaders strongly criticized terrorism and reiterated their policy of showing no leniency towards terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
Netanyahu’s visit to India was postponed last month
He also discussed the situation in West Asia. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed India’s support for efforts for a just and lasting peace in the region, including the early implementation of the Gaza Peace Plan. Both the leaders agreed to remain in constant touch with each other.
The Israeli PM was scheduled to visit India in December 2025, but due to some reason it was cancelled. There were a lot of discussions regarding this, because this was the third time that the Israeli PM’s visit to India was postponed. Since there was an explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi in November 2025, his visit was being seen from the security point of view.
