According to Reuters News Agency, China believes that conflict is continuously increasing in this area. The Chinese ministry quoted Wang as saying in a phone call with the Saudi minister that China praised Saudi Arabia’s restraint and emphasis on resolving differences through peaceful means.

Wang has said that the red line of civilian safety should not be crossed in conflicts. Military attacks should not be carried out targeting energy related resources. Apart from this, the security of the shipping route should be ensured.
