The presence of drones over the homes of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has increased security concerns. Officials are now busy identifying the people responsible for this.
According to a Washington Post report, lockdowns at several domestic targets and global security alerts raise the possibility that Iranian retaliatory measures could also reach officials stationed on American soil. The US military is keeping a close eye on possible threats. Lockdown has been declared on American bases.
Security of America’s major military bases increased
These drone sightings in America have happened at a time when global tensions, especially in the Middle East, have increased considerably. As the conflict in the Middle East intensifies, security has been increased around major US military and government installations. According to three people with knowledge of the matter, American officials have spotted unidentified drones over a military base in Washington.
FBI had warned
According to the report of ABC News, America’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had earlier warned the California Police about the drone attack from Iran. The FBI had issued this warning in February. However, no information about the target or time was given in this warning.
War continues for 20 days
