Rinku Singh Joins Team India: Rinku Singh had shouldered his father’s bier on 27 February. Shortly after that, Rinku is going to reach Kolkata and join Team India. According to The Indian Express, Rinku will reach Kolkata from Aligarh and will be available to play the match against West Indies on Sunday.

On the morning of 27 February, Rinku Singh’s father Khanchand Singh breathed his last at Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida. He was suffering from fourth stage liver cancer and was on ventilator support for the last several days. Rinku and all her brothers were present there during the funeral of Khanchand Singh.

Rinku Singh will reach Kolkata

On March 1, the Super-8 match between India and West Indies will be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. According to The Indian Express, one of Rinku’s brothers told that Rinku has left for Kolkata. According to the same report, the source said that Rinku Singh came to Delhi by air and then reached Aligarh. Rinku Singh’s elder brother Sonu cremated the dead body of his father, Khanchand.

‘Do or die’ match for India

India has to play a do or die match with West Indies on March 1. Whoever wins this match will enter the semi-finals. South Africa has already made it to the semi-finals from the first group of Super-8, while Zimbabwe is out. The second team from this group will be decided after the India vs West Indies match.

Let us remind you that Rinku Singh could not play in the match against Zimbabwe. In his place, Sanju Samson got a chance in the playing eleven. While opening, Sanju scored 24 runs in 15 balls. Now it will be worth seeing whether Rinku gets a chance in the match against West Indies or not.
