Woman assaulted and molested for not paying recovery in Nadia, Trinamool workers accused

West Bengal News: A serious case of assault and molestation of a woman for not paying the recovery has come to light in Adangghata area of ​​Nadia district of West Bengal. This incident has spread sensation in the entire area. The victim has alleged that a section of local Trinamool Congress workers continuously pressurized her to pay the extortion money. The woman lives alone and the accused were demanding money from her for some time.

According to the victim, on February 20, when she flatly refused to pay the recovery, the accused entered her house and brutally beat her and also molested her. Hearing the screams of the woman, the neighbors reached the spot and somehow saved her from the accused. After this, the injured woman was immediately admitted to Ranaghat Sub-Divisional Hospital, where she is undergoing treatment.

The accused are continuously threatening the victim

After the incident, the victim lodged a written complaint at Dhantala police station. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case and started investigation. However, no accused has been arrested so far. The victim says that the accused are continuously threatening her, due to which she is forced to live in an environment of fear.

Strict legal action will be taken against the accused

Political reactions have also emerged on this incident. On behalf of Trinamool Congress, it has been said that the party does not support any such criminal activity. The party leadership made it clear that if the accused are found to be associated with the party, strict legal action will be taken against them.

At the same time, BJP has raised questions on the administration regarding this matter and warned that if concrete action is not taken against the accused soon, the party will agitate. Police officials say that the matter is being investigated seriously and legal action will be taken against the culprits soon.
