Jammu Kashmir Captain Paras Dogra Fight: Paras Dogra has been punished for attacking a player in the final match of Ranji Trophy 2025-26. He will have to pay a fine of 50 percent of the match fee for bad behaviour. Paras is the captain of the Jammu and Kashmir team and he headbutted Karnataka’s KV Anish during the final match. The final match is being played in Hubli (Karnataka).

This incident happened in the first session of the second day in the final match. Paras Dogra retired hurt on the first day of the match. On the second day, Paras came to bat again in the 99th over. Karnataka’s bowlers targeted him with short pitch balls, while the fielders kept sledging him continuously.

The situation appeared to worsen in the 101st over. A ball from Prasidh Krishna hit Dogra’s bat and went towards the boundary. Meanwhile, Captain Dogra had an argument with KV Aneesh, who was present in the field as a substitute fielder. The matter became so heated that Paras Dogra headbutted Anish with his helmet. Mayank Agarwal immediately tried to intervene. After that the umpires also pacified the matter.

Dogra apologized to Anish after the end of the over, but as punishment he will have to pay a fine of 50 percent of the match fee. In this innings, Paras Dogra was out after scoring 70 runs.

In the final match of Ranji Trophy 2025-26, Jammu and Kashmir has scored 527 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in the first innings till the end of the second day’s play. Shubham Pundir has played a century inning of 121 runs in the match. Apart from him, Yaver Hasan contributed 88 runs. Apart from them, captain Paras Dogra scored 70 runs, Abdul Samad scored 61 runs, Kanhaiya Wadhawan also scored 70 runs and till now Sahil Lotra is the fifth batsman from Jammu and Kashmir to score 50+ in an innings.
