Xiaomi 17 Series: Xiaomi has introduced its flagship Xiaomi 17 series at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026. This series will have powerful features and will compete with the flagship devices of companies like Apple and Samsung. That means Xiaomi is bringing a new series to compete with the iPhone 17 Pro and Galaxy S26 series. There will be two models in this series including Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. This series will be launched in India on March 11. Before that, let us know what features these two models will have.
Specifications of Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra
Xiaomi 17 will be launched as a compact option. It will have a 6.3-inch AMOLED display, which will support peak brightness of 3,500 nits and refresh rate of 120Hz. Its weight will be 191 grams and it will come with IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Talking about Xiaomi 17 Ultra, it will be a big and camera-focused phone. It will be launched with a 6.9 inch LTPO AMOLED screen. Its weight will be 219 grams and it has also got IP68 rating.
Processor and Battery
Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor will be provided in both Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Xiaomi 17 will be launched only with a single configuration (12GB+256GB). It will have a 6,000mAH battery, which will support 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. Whereas 17 Ultra will have a 6,330mAh battery, which will come with 100W wired charging support.
Camera setup will be powerful
Xiaomi 17 will have a Leica-powered triple camera setup. It will have a 50MP primary sensor along with a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP telephoto lens. Similarly, the Ultra model will have a 50MP primary lens, 50MP ultra-wide and 200MP periscope telephoto sensor.
How much can the price be?
Xiaomi 17 will be brought in Black, Blue and Green color options in India, while there will also be a pink variant for the global market. The Ultra model will be launched only in black color option. In the global market, Xiaomi 17 has been launched at a starting price of around Rs 1.07 lakh and 17 Ultra has been launched at a starting price of around Rs 1.61 lakh. The prices of both models in India will be announced on March 11.
