‘Dhurandhar’ has performed tremendously at the box office. This Ranveer Singh starrer film has created history by crossing the mark of Rs 800 crore in India and Rs 1300 crore worldwide. Apart from its box office numbers, ‘Dhurandhar’ has been the talk of the internet. There was a lot of talk about the songs and every scene of the film. Now when the audience is waiting for the second part of the film, Yami Gautam has increased everyone’s excitement. Actually the actress told that she has already seen ‘Dhurandhar 2’ and is surprised to see it.
Yami praised Aditya Dhar
Let us tell you that during the News 18 Rising India Summit 2026, Yami praised her husband and direct-producer Aditya Dhar and said, “My husband has made some tremendous films like Uri. Recently Dhurandhar came. He has the passion to make a film like Dhurandhar, otherwise this would not have been possible.” When she was jokingly asked if any of her films were releasing on March 19, Yami laughed and said, “Look, only Aditya will give any main information related to Dhurandhar.” Later the actress smiled and said, “Like everyone else, I too have an important appointment at the cinema hall that day, so I will meet you all there.”
What did Yami Gautam say on the success of Dhurandhar?
Recalling the tremendous response the first film received, Yami said that she never doubted its impact. Yami said, “I always believed this. I had said earlier also that Dhurandhar would be a film that every Indian would be proud of. I was shooting for Article 370 when I read the script of Dhurandhar for the first time. It was only 40 pages long but I had tears in my eyes. I couldn’t say anything and my reaction was enough to tell Aditya how I really felt. I know how much effort he had put in to make this film. Have worked hard, with honesty and trust.”

Then he surprised the audience by telling that he had already seen the sequel. Sharing her reaction, Yami said, “I have already seen Dhurandhar 2. It’s amazing. I was really emotional. I had to catch a flight that day so I couldn’t say anything to Aditya but later, I couldn’t do anything. I had to read a script but I couldn’t, I had to watch something but I couldn’t. I was just looking outside at the beautiful sunset and wondering what I would say to Aditya when the flight landed. I wanted to justify my feelings on the film and what I experienced. Aditya loves his audience and the country and he has put his entire life into making this film. ‘Dhurandhar 2’ will be an experience that the audience will never forget.”
When will Dhurandhar 2 be released?
Let us tell you that Dhurandhar 2 is being released in theaters on March 19. The story of Ranveer Singh becoming Hamza will be shown in the film. Many actors including Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi will be seen in Dhurandhar The Revenge or Dhurandhar 2.
