According to media reports, the scope of this feature can be expanded with Samsung devices. It is being claimed that Google will make this feature available for other models also through a separate app named Android Callcore. This app supports the infrastructure of phone calling based feature and after its latest update, it can also detect scam calls. This app can be installed only on devices with a specific feature flag and there is every possibility of getting this flag in Galaxy S26 Ultra. If these reports are true, it means that Samsung’s upcoming flagship device will not depend on Google’s Phone app for scam detection.
