39 year old Allada Nagaraju and 36 year old Ramya got married 8 years ago. He has two sons and he came to Visakhapatnam a few years ago and started living in Madurwada area. Nagaraju works as a private guard. He became friends with Vasanth Rao, 31, of Tekkali in Srikakulam district. Vasanth Rao lives in Kancherpalam Dharma Nagar, Visakhapatnam.
During Vasanth Rao’s frequent visits to Nagaraju’s house, he developed an extramarital affair with Ramya. After a few months, Nagaraju noticed this and scolded his wife, but Ramya’s behavior did not change and she along with her boyfriend Vasanth Rao decided to murder her husband and told Vasanth Rao.
Vasanth Rao, who wanted to kill Nagaraju, became friends with two people named Ram Babu and Pandu while wearing garlands for Ayyappan. At that time he told about the plan to kill Nagaraju. After this, all three decided to kill Nagaraju after taking off the Ayyappan garland.

Ramya and Vasanth Rao gave him Rs 50 thousand for the murder. As per the plan, after wearing the Ayyappan garland and going to Sabarimala, Vasanth Rao called Nagaraju for a drink. Earlier Vasanth Rao booked a room in a hotel and took them there and everyone drank alcohol.
After drinking too much alcohol, everyone together suffocated Nagaraju to death by covering his mouth with a pillow. Later a rented bike was taken and Nagaraju’s body was taken from the hotel room on the bike and dumped at an isolated place in Timmapuram area.
Police reached the accused through cell phone tower
The four criminals, including Ramya, who wanted to kill Nagaraju, took several precautionary measures to escape from the police. Recently, the police is collecting details of the accused on the basis of cell phone tower signals.
On the day of the murder, Ramya and Vasanth Rao did not use their phones for the whole day. He took precautionary measures to avoid suspicion. After Nagaraju’s murder, Ramya B.M. Palam went to the police station and lodged a complaint that her husband was missing and that he was addicted to alcohol and had also taken away gold ornaments from the house.
Ramya was living together in a separate room.
The police, who knew about the illicit relationship between Ramya and Vasanth Rao, investigated and after Nagaraju’s death, Ramya and Vasanth Rao were living together by renting a separate room, so the police became suspicious of Ramya and monitored her activities.
The truth came out after investigation based on telephone call data. Subsequently, the police arrested Ramya, Vasanth Rao, Ram Babu and Pandu. Based on the information given by him, Nagaraju’s body was recovered from an isolated area and sent for post-mortem.
