IND U19 vs SL U19 Semifinal Highlights Asia Cup 2025: India has made it to the final by defeating Sri Lanka by 8 wickets. In the first semi-final match of the Under-19 Asia Cup, Sri Lanka had scored 138 runs while playing first. In response, Team India won the match by 8 wickets with 12 balls remaining. Aaron George and Vihaan Malhotra scored half-centuries for India, but Vaibhav Suryavanshi flopped.
The Indian team has not lost a single match in the Under-19 Asia Cup. In the semi-final match played in Dubai, the Indian team won the toss and decided to bowl first. This decision proved to be a good one, because within no time Sri Lanka had lost three wickets till the score was 28.
Captain Vimat Dinsara scored 32 runs, while Chamika Heenatagila played an inning of 42 runs. Other batsmen could not play any big innings. Whereas the Indian bowlers wreaked havoc and bundled out the Sri Lankan team for 138 runs.
India reached the final
In reply, India lost two wickets at the score of 25. Captain Ayush Mhatre could score only 7 runs and Vaibhav Suryavanshi was out after scoring 9 runs. After that, Aaron George and Vihaan Malhotra took charge and together they made an unbeaten 114-run partnership to ensure the victory of Team India. George returned unbeaten after scoring 58 runs and Malhotra 61 runs. Only Rasith Nimsara could take 2 wickets for Sri Lanka.
The final will be held from Pakistan
Now India will face Pakistan in the final of Under-19 Asia Cup. Pakistan has defeated Bangladesh by 8 wickets in the second semi-final match. The final match between India and Pakistan will be played on December 21 in Dubai.
