Despite two rounds of peace talks between the US and Iran hosted by Pakistan in Islamabad, no permanent solution has yet been found to end this conflict. There is still talk of ceasefire between the two countries regarding the two major issues of Strait of Hormuz and uranium enrichment.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has said that Tehran is considering US President Donald Trump’s proposal for talks. Taking a dig at America, he said that Trump requested for talks because America has not been able to achieve any of its objectives.
Iranian Foreign Minister spoke in the meeting with Putin
Speaking to Russian state media during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg, Russia, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said, ‘The Islamic Republic stands completely stable and strong. Due to the war with America and Israel, the world has now understood the real strength of Iran and it has become clear that Iran is a stable, strong and powerful system.

This information has been revealed in a post made on the Telegram account of the Iranian minister. In which Abbas Araghchi also said that Russia has supported Iran and both the countries will continue their strategic partnership in future also.

On the other hand, America’s White House has said that it will not negotiate with Iran through media. White House Assistant Press Secretary Olivia Vale said in a conversation with CBS News that America will not negotiate with Iran through the press. These are sensitive diplomatic discussions between the two sides and the US will not negotiate through the press.
He further said, ‘As US President Donald Trump has said, America’s position is very strong amid the conflict with Iran and it will only make such an agreement which is in the interest of the American people. He also said that he will never allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.
Trump is putting pressure on Iran regarding nuclear enrichment
America, led by President Donald Trump, and its ally Israel are continuously pressurizing Iran to give up uranium enrichment. They allege that Iran is working towards making nuclear weapons. However, Tehran has been vehemently denying all these allegations made by America. If there is no agreement between Iran and America, Washington’s tension may increase.
President Donald Trump has also said that he wants Iran’s enriched uranium and nuclear dust, about which he has also posted on his social media. He made this statement despite earlier claiming that he had destroyed Iran’s nuclear capability during the 12-day war. However, Iran’s state media has made it clear that the current diplomatic efforts will not include any discussion on the nuclear issue.
