The actress revealed that it was a real slap and she completed the scene in one take.

In the caption he wrote, ‘This is my entry scene in the film and the amount of love it has received has overwhelmed me. In this scene I felt everything at once – anger at my husband, frustration, and pain between us because of the reason behind our son’s death.
‘Yes, I slapped Akshay Khanna for real. My breakdown close to you was taken in one take’. After this the actress shared another picture in which she is seen sitting in a prayer meet. Regarding this, the actress wrote that ‘the pain I felt in that moment remained with me as it came straight from the heart.’
