AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has fiercely attacked Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma. While addressing an election rally in Sangareddy district on Sunday, Owaisi strongly condemned a controversial video shared by CM Sharma. He raised the question that while on one hand Prime Minister Narendra Modi gives the slogan of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas’ in foreign countries, on the other hand the CM of his own party is targeting Muslims and giving the slogan of ‘No Mercy’.
Owaisi has warned that his party will take legal action in this matter. In the speech, Owaisi said, “CM Sahib puts a video in which he is firing from a gun and his target is the picture of a Muslim child. He says ‘clean shot’ and ‘no mercy’.” Referring to PM Modi’s visit to Malaysia, he said that Modi goes there and hugs Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, but here his CM is spreading hatred.
‘Muslim lives by the mercy of Allah’
Owaisi asked, “If this is not hatred then what is it?” He alleged that the Muslims of Assam are being made fun of and attempts are being made to hurt their honour. Owaisi gave a direct challenge to Himanta Biswa Sharma and said, “Listen Himanta Biswa Sharma, we are not afraid of these things of yours. If a Muslim wins, he wins by the grace of Allah.”
We will be called martyrs- Owaisi
He said that everyone has to die, but if we die due to his bullet, we will be called martyrs and if we remain alive, people will say that he is a Mujahid. He said that Muslims will not sell their conscience and live under the shadow of fear. Let us tell you that this controversy started when the CM of Assam had posted a video on his social media, in which he was shooting at a target.
Opposition parties and several news portals had alleged that the target had a picture of a Muslim youth and termed it an attempt to spread ‘communal hatred’. Owaisi has called it politics of hatred just to win elections in Assam. He said that the country and the world are watching how the storehouse of hatred is being opened for a small election.
