Mumbai Crime Branch had sent the threatening voice note received by the manager to Punjab and Haryana to verify the case of threatening Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. The person sending the voice note had described himself as a hairy boxer and had demanded a ransom of Rs 20 crore.
When Mumbai Police got information about this threatening voice note, it was sent to Punjab and Haryana Police and when it was confirmed from there that the voice heard in that voice note was that of Hairy Boxer, after that an FIR was registered.
FIR registered against hairy boxer
Mumbai Cyber ​​Police has registered an FIR against the hairy boxer based on the complaint of Ranveer Singh’s manager Vijay Subramaniam and is investigating the matter with the Anti-Extortion Cell of the Crime Branch. According to the police, Subramaniam received calls on his phone from an international number (+340), which is believed to be the country code associated with the Virgin Islands. The caller allegedly demanded money and made threats. Following the threats, security at Ranveer Singh’s house has been increased and he has been advised to be cautious while traveling anywhere for film shooting.
Threat of consequences if not obeyed in voice note
It is reported that the ‘boxer’ left a long voice note saying that if his words were not followed, “the next seven generations” would remember the consequences. The voice note said, “Ranveer Singh, you retracted after saying something, okay… Either you come back on that matter, otherwise they will tell you what is the punishment for retracting. That’s why I am leaving this voice note for you… Rohit Shetty and you come on the line… and I am also telling the entire Bollywood… Today, for the firing that took place in Portugal, I and my brother take responsibility for the firing at ‘Marina Grand’ and Sukhdev’s shop.”
Second FIR registered against Bishnoi gang members
