5 storey building taken on lease
According to the latest report, Ranbir Kapoor and family have together purchased a five-storey building for RK Studio in Andheri area of ​​Mumbai. This building has been taken on a 20-year lease in Kanakia Wall Street Commercial Building. If reports are to be believed, RK Studio will be rebuilt in this building, which will have an art studio, make-up room, screening room and temple. So a floor has also been kept for music and editing. This time the entire family is going to manage the studio together.
Ranbir and Karishma will do it
Cabins of Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor and Natasha Nanda will also be made in this RK Studio. The founders of this studio will be Ranbir Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor. If reports are to be believed, this studio will be designed in such a way that not one or two but three films can be shot here simultaneously. There will also be a post production setup on one floor of this studio.
Old RK Studio family sold
Let us tell you that the old RK Studio which was located in Chembur, was sold by the family with mutual consent for Rs 180 crore. The founder of this old studio was legendary actor-director Raj Kapoor. Which he had built in 1948. Under this studio, films like ‘Barsaat’, ‘Awara’, ‘Mera Naam Joker’, ‘Bobby’, ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’, ‘Prem Rog’ and ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ were made.
