The headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet is located in Bahrain. Officials fear that if a full-scale war occurs, the approximately 30,000 to 40,000 US troops deployed in the region could be potential targets of Iran. Military experts believe the potential conflict could be different from the attack on Al Udeid in June 2025, when Iran reportedly informed the US in advance.
