Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that after the departure of NATO forces from Afghanistan, it was expected that there would be peace in Afghanistan and the Taliban would pay attention to the interests of the Afghan people and the stability of the area, but the Taliban made Afghanistan a colony of India. They gathered terrorists from all over the world in Afghanistan and started exporting terrorism.
Taliban has become India’s proxy- Khawaja Asif
Khawaja Asif alleged that they (Afghan government) deprived their own people of basic human rights. They took away from women the rights that Islam gives them. Pakistan made every possible effort to keep the situation stable, both directly and through friendly countries. He further said that we did a lot of diplomacy, but Taliban became India’s proxy.
‘Now our patience has reached its limit’
He further said that today when attempts are being made to target Pakistan, by the grace of Allah our forces are giving a strong response. Earlier, Pakistan’s role has been positive. It has provided shelter to 5 million Afghans for 50 years. Even today, millions of Afghans are earning their livelihood on our land. Now our patience has reached its limit and this is an open confrontation. Khwaja Asif said that now there will be tremendous action. Pakistan’s army has not come from across the sea. We are your neighbors and we know your reality very well.
