Pakistan admits 12 soldiers killed in war with Afghanistan, claims 274 Taliban fighters killed

The tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan has now taken the form of war. The war between the two countries, which started at 9 pm on 26 February, is going on continuously. On one hand, the armies of both the countries are face to face at 8 places on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, while the war has adopted the air route during the day. Pakistan attacked military bases located in Paktika, Khost, Nangarhar of Afghanistan. In response, Afghanistan for the first time claimed to have launched drone attacks on Pakistani military bases located in four Pakistani cities of Swabi, Abbottabad, Islamabad and Nowshera.

There was no evidence of a drone attack in Islamabad, but Pakistani troops were stationed in a school in Swabi. An Afghan suicide drone exploded outside it, and an Afghan drone also fell inside the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) of the Pakistani Army in Abbottabad. Similarly, in Nowshera also the local people complained about the blast.

Pakistan released video of air strike

Till 6 pm on 27th February, Pakistan has released the video of air strike on more than 31 military bases of Afghanistan. Also, from yesterday (26 February) to today (27 February), the Afghan army has also destroyed more than 50 Pakistani military bases with the help of mortars and artillery.

Pakistan claims to have killed 274 Afghan army soldiers

Despite evidence, according to the Pakistani Army, from 9 pm on February 26 to 4 pm today, 274 Afghan Army soldiers were killed and more than 400 were injured in the clashes. Also, Pakistani Army claimed that more than 74 Afghan army posts have been destroyed. And 18 are under the control of Pakistan. If Pakistan Army’s claims are to be believed, it has destroyed more than 150 tanks, artillery and mortar guns of Afghanistan.

Pakistan admitted the death of 12 of its soldiers

At the same time, Pakistan admitted that 12 of its soldiers have lost their lives and 27 have been injured in this war. The Afghan government informed at midnight that it had killed more than 55 Pakistani soldiers in the strike between 9 pm to 1 am. However, Afghanistan has not yet given the latest figures. Also, according to Afghanistan’s figures, 8 of its soldiers have died in this battle.

Many countries offered mediation

To normalize the situation between the two countries, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Arghachi first offered mediation, after which Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelati, while talking to Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Dr. Ishaq Dar, appealed for peace and understood the situation. Similarly, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, after talking to Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaki, appealed for peace and offered mediation. However, at present both Pakistan and Afghanistan are not ready for mediation or ceasefire with any country.
