US Iran War: Amidst the American blockade in Hormuz, President Trump’s attitude towards Iran seems to be softening a bit. Amidst the news of Pakistan’s meeting with Iran again, reports are coming out that the ceasefire between Washington and Tehran may extend for two more weeks. The dispute between the two countries had increased over the issue of Strait of Hormuz and nuclear weapons, but this latest development is expected to reduce the tension.
According to the report of news agency ‘AP’, an important update has been received on the matter of extending the ceasefire between America and Iran. There has been progress in the efforts of the mediators, as it is expected that the two opposing sides can talk soon.
America-Iran have also agreed to extend the ceasefire. If there are talks between the two countries again, three issues will be included. The first issue in this is that of the nuclear programme. The second point is connected to the Strait of Hormuz. The third issue is regarding compensation.
President Trump had given a hint regarding ceasefire
US President Trump said on Tuesday that the war with Iran is nearing an end. He also claimed that if they retreat now, it will take 20 years for Iran to stand up again. This reaction of Trump came a few hours after the statement in which ‘US Central Command’ had said that in the first 24 hours of the blockade, all traffic to and from Iran’s ports and coastal areas has been successfully stopped.
Trump wrote a letter to China regarding Iran
Trump also recently talked to China on the issue of Iran. He said, ‘I had written a letter to Xi Jinping requesting him not to give arms to Iran, he also wrote a letter to me saying that he is not doing so. If they have nuclear weapons, we will have to live with them for some time, but I don’t know how long they will be able to last.
