There was an atmosphere of tension in the LB Nagar area of Hyderabad on Tuesday, when an armed group of about 30 attackers carried out a fatal attack on a person named Suresh, due to which BJP leaders sat on a dharna outside the police station in support of the injured victim and made a strong protest demanding his immediate arrest, seriously accusing the police of giving protection to the attackers.
In this entire incident, the victim Suresh has been seriously injured and is undergoing treatment in the hospital, while the police administration has deployed a large number of forces to bring the situation under control.
How did the whole incident happen?
According to the information received, the incident happened suddenly when Suresh was riding in his car. During that time, a crowd of about 30 people chased him and then attacked him. The attackers not only tried to kill Suresh, but also badly damaged his car. The glass of the car was broken and the vehicle was completely destroyed. This attack spread an atmosphere of panic in the area. Local people reached the spot and tried to intervene, but by then the attackers had fled from the spot. After this the police was informed and the injured was taken to the hospital.
However, the matter did not stop here. When the police did not take immediate arrest action after Suresh’s attack, anger spread among BJP leaders and workers. Party leaders gathered outside LB Nagar police station and started protesting. The protesters directly accused the police of protecting the attackers and not taking any strict action against the accused. BJP leaders said that if the police did not become active on time, they would intensify the agitation. He demanded that all the 30 accused involved in the case should be immediately arrested and the victim should get justice.
Police busy searching for the attackers on the basis of CCTV
Police sources say that investigation into the case has been started and they are trying to identify the attackers with the help of CCTV footage. However, to maintain the law and order situation in the area, the police has deployed a large number of police forces outside the police station and in the surrounding areas so that no untoward incident occurs. In the past also, many incidents of gang violence and attacks have come to light in this area, on which questions have been raised many times. It is not yet clear why Suresh was attacked on such a large scale, but the police is investigating the entire matter in depth. This incident once again highlights the challenges of law and order in the city, where such a large number of attackers being active in broad daylight is a matter of concern for the common citizens.
