Stock Market Closing: There was a huge decline in the Indian stock market on Monday. Both Sensex and Nifty fell by about 2%. Now, amid pressure throughout the day, the stock market also closed in the red at the end of the day. The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 80,238.85, down by -1048.74 points or -1.29%. Whereas NSE Nifty of 50 shares closed at 24,865.70 with a decline of -312 points or -1.24%.
