‘Any successor chosen…’ Israel again threatens Iran before Khamenei’s funeral

Iran’s government news agency IRNA told AFP news agency that Khamenei’s state funeral will be held for the next three days. Till 10 pm, his fans will be able to visit the Imam Khamenei Grand Mosque in Tehran to pay homage to Khamenei, a martyr for the country.

Khamenei will be buried in his native city
It was told that 86-year-old Khamenei will be buried in his native city of Mashhad in north-eastern Iran. Before the funeral, there is news of Khamenei’s son Mojtaba being made his successor. Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a threatening tone on Wednesday that any Iranian leader chosen as the successor to the 86-year-old Shia Muslim cleric will be assassinated.
