YouTube Direct Messaging: Now users will be able to send messages on YouTube also like WhatsApp. Till now the company was providing this feature only in two countries, which is now being rolled out in other countries also. This feature is offering users a new way to communicate as well as share videos. Let us tell you that such a feature was available on YouTube a long time ago, which was stopped midway and is being revived again.
Now there will be no need for any other apps to share videos
Till now, to share YouTube videos, users had to take the help of other apps and this process was also lengthy. For this, one had to first copy the link of the video, then go to the messaging app, paste it and then send it. Now this hassle is over and users will be able to share videos through YouTube’s built-in messaging interface. However, to use this feature, the user must be signed in to the YouTube account and must be at least 18 years of age. The sender will also have the option to unsend the sent message and the receiver will also have the option to receive and reject the message.
Where was this feature rolled out?
YouTube had initially rolled out this feature in Poland and Ireland. Now it is being rolled out in more than 30 countries including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland and Sweden.
