During a program in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge gave a controversial statement about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that Trump is a dictator and Modi has become his slave. Kharge alleged that India’s foreign policy and trade policies are now being influenced by America, which can cause harm to the country and especially the farmers.
Called PM Modi a slave of Trump
AICC President Kharge said that America is doing injustice to us. He tells us not to go and buy oil or petrol from other countries. Will we accept this? Will he (Modi) say no, we will take our own decision? Trump has given us 30 days to buy oil. Who gave these 30 days? America by Trump. He is a dictator and Modi is his slave.
What did Kharge say by mentioning Mahatma Gandhi?
Kharge further said that Trump has said that you can buy oil within 30 days. After that you will have to take my permission. Kharge said that Congress had fought against the British and thrown them out of India. Mahatma Gandhi sacrificed his life, bullets were fired and people were martyred. We had achieved independence after great sacrifices and today you have again pushed the same country towards slavery.
Regarding the ongoing tension in the Middle East, Congress President Kharge said that there cannot be peace in the world by killing the leader of any country. He said that if leaders like Ali Khamenei are targeted, it has a serious impact on international law and global stability. He also said that America’s attitude is arrogant and it is violating international rules in many cases.
