Iran, which is fighting a war with America and Israel, is not only carrying out retaliatory attacks on these two countries, but it is also targeting many Gulf countries, where attacks are being carried out on its behalf. Amidst all this, a European country has also come under the target of Iran, which is indicated by America’s recent action.

Appeal to American citizens to leave

In fact, America has also appealed to its citizens to evacuate from south-eastern Türkiye. On Monday (March 9), the Washington Embassy advised to evacuate non-essential employees from the US Embassy located near the southern Turkish city of Adana, near an important NATO base. Also, American citizens were ordered to leave south-eastern Türkiye.

Iran is carrying out retaliatory attacks in Middle East countries

Let us tell you that the war between America, Israel and Iran is going on since February 28. Today, March 9, is the tenth day of the war but the situation is still not normal. After the American attacks, Iran is also retaliating with drones and missiles in those countries of the Middle East where American bases are present.

Iran did not attack Turkey

However, till now there has been no retaliatory attack from Iran on Turkey, even though American soldiers are deployed at many of its bases there. Incirlik Air Base is an important NATO center, which has been used by American soldiers for years. Its distance from Adana city of Türkiye is only 10 kilometers.

On March 9, the US Embassy posted on the social media platform X and ordered American citizens living in south-eastern Türkiye to evacuate. “On March 9, 2026, the US State Department ordered non-emergency US government employees and their family members to leave the Consulate General in Adana due to security risks,” the post said.
