Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu has handed over the aerodrome license to Noida International Airport (Jewar). The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had issued an aerodrome license to Noida International Airport. With the receipt of the aerodrome license, the way has been cleared for the operation of the airport.
Asia’s largest airport will be built
Minister Ram Naidu discussed with the airport operator to complete the remaining processes expeditiously. Naidu described Jewar Airport on social media as one of the most important aviation projects in the country. He said, Jewar Airport is being developed as Asia’s largest airport area.
The airport will also have integrated MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) and air cargo facilities.
Expansion in aviation sector
This project is expected to strengthen India’s aviation ecosystem. The minister said on social media that India’s aviation sector is expanding rapidly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
