Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu has handed over the aerodrome license to Noida International Airport (Jewar). The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had issued an aerodrome license to Noida International Airport. With the receipt of the aerodrome license, the way has been cleared for the operation of the airport.

Asia’s largest airport will be built

Minister Ram Naidu discussed with the airport operator to complete the remaining processes expeditiously. Naidu described Jewar Airport on social media as one of the most important aviation projects in the country. He said, Jewar Airport is being developed as Asia’s largest airport area.
The airport will also have integrated MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) and air cargo facilities.

Expansion in aviation sector

This project is expected to strengthen India’s aviation ecosystem. The minister said on social media that India’s aviation sector is expanding rapidly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Jewar Airport has brought a big economic boom in Yamuna region. According to the YIDA CEO, due to the airport spread over three thousand acres, the prices of real estate in this area have increased by 20 times. Due to increase in the price of land of farmers, their economic condition and investment in industries and employment in this entire area has increased rapidly.

Let us tell you that Jewar International Airport is being considered a game changer not only for Western UP but for the entire Uttar Pradesh as well as surrounding Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi-NCR. The construction work of the airport has been completed, but operations have not started yet.
