Good news for UP, MP and Maharashtra, two new Amrit Bharat Express trains will start, see the complete route.

Railways has given good news to the people traveling between Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Indian Railways is now bringing two new Amrit Bharat Express trains, which will not only be cheaper but will also be more comfortable than before. Taking a big step towards further strengthening local connectivity, Railways has announced two new Amrit Bharat Express trains. Of these, a daily train will run between Banaras to Hadapsar (Pune) and a weekly train from Ayodhya to Mumbai (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus). Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off these trains on Tuesday, April 28.

According to the Railways, the purpose of these new train services is to make the travel between Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra more accessible, economical and comfortable. Especially this facility will be very beneficial for migrant workers and pilgrims.

Specialty of Amrit Bharat Express

Amrit Bharat Express trains were specially designed keeping in mind the passengers of lower and middle income group. These are completely non-AC trains, which include general and sleeper coaches. These trains include modern and comfortable seat and berth designs, CCTV surveillance and emergency talk-back systems, aerosol based systems for fire safety, USB Type-A and Type-C ports for mobile charging, better lighting and clean toilets and disabled friendly facilities.

Banaras–Hadapsar (Pune) Amrit Bharat Express

Starting from Banaras, this train will reach Pune (Hadapsar) in about 30 hours and will stop at a total of 18 stations. This train will leave from Banaras station at 6.15 pm and reach Hadapsar at 12.10 am on the next day. The stoppages of this train will be Prayagraj, Jhansi, Bhopal (Rani Kamalapati), Itarsi, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Daund. Railways believes that the benefit of this route will be that the devotees coming to Kashi Vishwanath Dham will get convenience and the migrant laborers of UP and MP will get direct connectivity to Pune. Also, it will become easier for farmers and traders to access the markets of Maharashtra. This train will serve as a better option for the passengers going to Shirdi.

Ayodhya–Mumbai (LTT) Amrit Bharat Express

This weekly train will run from Ayodhya Cantt and reach Mumbai (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus) in about 28 hours. This train will leave from Ayodhya Cantt at 1:50 pm on Wednesday afternoon and will reach Mumbai the next day on Thursday at 3:45 pm. Whereas this train will leave from Mumbai at 7.55 am on Tuesday and will reach Ayodhya Cantt at 10.15 am the next day. The main stops of this train will be Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Satna, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Bhusaval, Nashik Road, Kalyan and Thane.

Number of Amrit Bharat Express in the country increased to 66

Railways believes that the benefits of this route will be that there will be direct train service for the devotees coming to Ram Temple. Also, lakhs of migrant workers from UP working in Mumbai will benefit from this, and there will be reduction in travel cost and time. Also, there will be convenience in festivals and family trips. After the commencement of these two new trains, the total number of Amrit Bharat Express trains in the country will increase to 66.

Railways has said about these two new trains that on one hand these trains connect major pilgrimage sites, on the other hand they also promote employment, business and education opportunities. Just as Vande Bharat trains have reshaped premium travel, Amrit Bharat Express is emerging as a new option for affordable and comfortable long distance travel for common travelers.
