Sensex Today, Stock Market LIVE Updates: Indian stock market may have a weak start on Wednesday. Investors currently seem cautious due to ongoing concerns over US-Iran tension and mixed signals from global markets. For this reason, the major market indices BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 may open with pressure. GIFT Nifty being traded in the foreign market is also indicating a weak start. It was seen trading around 24,303 levels, which was about 90 points below the previous close of Nifty futures. From this it is being estimated that the domestic market may start with a slight decline.
However, earlier on Tuesday the Indian market had performed strongly. Due to better global cues and increasing appetite for risk, investors showed buying, due to which the market closed with gains.
At the end of trading, BSE Sensex rose 639.82 points or 0.82% and closed at 78,205.98. Whereas Nifty 50 closed at 24,261.60 with a gain of 233.55 points or 0.97% and was successful in staying above the important level of 24,200.
