One 97 Communications, the parent company of digital payments company Paytm, has said that the changes made by NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) in the fee structure on UPI transactions through RuPay credit cards will have little impact on the company’s business. The company clarified in the information given to the stock exchange that the new order is mainly related to the revenue from consumer UPI apps, while it will not have any impact on the merchant payment business.
