Blessing Muzarabani PSL: Before the start of IPL 2026, Kolkata Knight Riders team is in the news. On one hand, Harshit Rana is out of the tournament due to injury, on the other hand, Zimbabwe’s Blessing Muzarabani has joined KKR. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is upset with this decision of Muzarabani, because this Zimbabwean bowler has left PSL due to getting IPL contract.
Let us tell you that Blessing Muzarabani has replaced Mustafizur Rahman in Kolkata Knight Riders team. Rahman, who was released by the KKR team on the instructions of BCCI. Now, according to a report by Pakistani channel Geo Super, the Pakistan Cricket Board is so upset that it is preparing to take legal action against Blessing Muzarabani.
The PSL season is starting from March 26 and Blessing Muzarabani was to play for Islamabad United. United team included him in their team as a replacement for Shamar Joseph. He had got a deal of 1.1 crore Pakistani rupees, but now he has broken his PSL contract and joined Kolkata Knight Riders. For this reason PCB is preparing to take legal action against him.
Earlier, Harshit Rana has been ruled out of IPL 2026 due to injury, but KKR has not yet announced his replacement.
On the other hand, if we talk about Blessing Muzarabani, he had performed tremendously for Zimbabwe in the T20 World Cup 2026. He took 13 wickets in the entire tournament and stood second in terms of taking most wickets in the tournament. He made a huge contribution in taking Zimbabwe to the Super-8 of the World Cup. But Zimbabwe could not reach the semi-finals.
