Robin Uthappa believes that when the level of the game will be higher, Vaibhav Suryavanshi will face difficulties, right now he is largely dependent on his luck. While talking on Star Sports, Uthappa said that he has been keeping an eye on his every match for the last 12 months. According to the former cricketer, Vaibhav is brilliant, but right now he is relying on his luck.
Uthappa further said that now people know where to bowl against him. Now that novelty has worn off and as the level of the game increases, they will face difficulties. According to the former cricketer, IPL 2026 will be a learning season for Vaibhav. According to him, Vaibhav will score runs in this season but according to him, it will not be the same season as last year.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s IPL career
Rajasthan Royals bought him for a price of Rs 1 crore 10 lakh. He is the youngest player to play in this league. In his debut season in 2025, he made many records, including the record of scoring a century among the fewest bowlers. He is the batsman who scored the second fastest century in IPL. He scored this historic century against Gujarat Titans in 35 balls. 14-year-old Vaibhav has scored 252 runs in 7 matches played in IPL, which includes one century and one half-century.
