‘Don’t break…’, Rishabh Pant, who is preparing for IPL, said this while giving the bat to his fellow player, watch video

The upcoming season of IPL (IPL 2026) is going to start from March 28. All the teams have started their preparations for the 19th edition of the tournament. Lucknow Super Giants are also busy in preparations, whose captain Rishabh Pant is also sweating a lot in the nets. LSG shared a video during practice, in which Pant is giving his bat to his teammate Ayush Badoni.

Lucknow Super Giants team has been playing in IPL since 2022, in the first two editions the team reached the playoffs but in the last two seasons the team was out of the league stage. Last year, the team had bought Rishabh Pant for a record amount of Rs 27 crore, although his performance was not as per expectations. Now Pant is working hard for the upcoming season.

Rishabh Pant gave his bat

Lucknow Super Giants shared a video from the official social media page, in which Ayush Badoni is going for practice. He is taking Rishabh Pant’s bat for practice, which was given to him by the captain. It was seen in the video that Pant took out his bat from his kit and gave it to Badoni and also said that this bat is very good and do not break it. Pant said just put tape on it. Badoni and Pant also play for the same team (Delhi) in domestic.

LSG changed its logo

Ahead of the Indian Premier League 2026, Lucknow Super Giants have changed their logo, while the color of their jersey (now a combination of red and blue) has also changed. The franchise has used an elephant in the ‘logo’. Last season was not special for Lucknow. The team had won 6 out of 14 matches.

IPL 2026 is going to start from March 28. The first match is between RCB and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Bengaluru. The first match of Lucknow Super Giants is with Delhi Capitals on 1 April. Before Lucknow, Pant was the captain of Delhi only. This match will be played at LSG’s home ground (Ekana).
