He has become the seventh Bangladeshi cricketer to score a century in ODI cricket against Pakistan.

Tanjid Hasan is the first batsman to score an ODI century for Bangladesh against Pakistan in the last 11 years. Before him, the last Bangladeshi batsman to score a century against the Pakistan team was Soumya Sarkar, who had played an innings of 127 runs in the year 2015. Before him, only 6 Bangladeshi cricketers could score centuries in ODIs against Pakistan.
