The finale of season 4 of The Great Indian Kapil Show ended with a fun episode in which father-son duo David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan were seen. In the episode, David Dhawan said that he has worked with Govinda in 17 films and he considers him one of the best actors ever. At the same time, Varun jokingly said that whenever a new scene is written, his father first remembers ‘Chi-Chi Bhaiya’ i.e. Govinda. He often says that if Govinda were there, how would he have done this scene.

David Dhawan also narrated an interesting anecdote related to the shooting of the film Partner. He told that Govinda often used to come to the set fully prepared for his scene. Once there was a four-page long scene, which Govinda read carefully and said that he should be allowed to do the scene first.
According to David Dhawan, Govinda did that entire scene brilliantly in just one take. During that time, he also did many types of moves, which everyone was surprised to see. Later Govinda jokingly said that now you can edit this scene as per your wish. David Dhawan praised him highly and said that Govinda is really an amazing actor. Along with Govinda, David Dhawan also praised the reliable actors Paresh Rawal, Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Satish Kaushik and Anupam Kher.
