West Bengal Assembly Election 2026: ‘TMC left Bengal on May 4…’, Gaurav Vallabh targeted TMC and Congress on the announcement of election dates.

The Election Commission has today announced the dates of assembly elections of five states including West Bengal. Voting will be held in two phases in Bengal and counting of votes will take place on May 4. Meanwhile, BJP leader Gaurav Vallabh, in a special conversation with ABP News, fiercely attacked Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Congress. He claimed that TMC will be wiped out from Bengal on May 4 as the people of the state will no longer tolerate betrayal of “maa, mati and manush”.

These three parties together have ruined Bengal: Gaurav Vallabh

Vallabh said, ‘Bengal was once the flag bearer of industrialization, but these three ‘K’s – Communist, Congress and its subsidiary Trinamool Congress – together ruined it. The people here are highly literate and educated, but today they are not getting employment in their motherland. TMC cheated for years with the slogan of Maa-Mati-Manush. When the RG Kar incident happened, a student was raped in a law college, TMC started saving the culprits. Now the people of Bengal have decided that TMC will go on 4th May.

Gaurav Vallabh took a dig at increasing the honorarium of priests and Maulvis: Gaurav Vallabh

Vallabh took a dig at the Mamata Banerjee government’s decision to increase the monthly honorarium of priests and maulvis by Rs 500. He asked, ‘Who had stopped him for 4 years and 11 months? Was she just waiting for the election dates to be announced? The Election Commission had said this morning that there would be a press conference at 4 o’clock, then why did they announce this just 2 hours before. This shows a flaw in their intentions. They are neither concerned with priests nor with clerics. Their only agenda is to install Abhishek Banerjee, but now this model of familyism has been rejected by the country. I say with full confidence that TMC will get less seats than RJD. The people of Bengal have rejected the model of jungle raj, fraud, corruption and nepotism.

Vallabh also took a dig at Congress West Bengal President Subhankar Sarkar. He said, ‘I don’t even know who he is and I guarantee that even 99 percent of the Congressmen themselves would not know that there is a president with this name.’

Election Commission fulfilled the responsibility of the Constitution by doing SIR: Gaurav Vallabh

On Special Intensive Amendment (SIR), Vallabh said that the Election Commission has fulfilled the responsibility of the Constitution, that the rights of any eligible voter should not be lost and no infiltrator should get the Voter ID. He alleged that, ‘The development model of infiltrators in Bengal was running with the money sent from Delhi. Lakhs of fake voter IDs, voting was taking place in the names of the dead but all this has now collapsed. That’s why Mamata and Congress are getting nervous, because such people were settled by them since independence. And if Subhankar ji is speaking as the spokesperson of the infiltrators, then he is not celebrating the election festival, but elections are a festival for Bengal and India. Not for intruders. They should talk like spokespersons of the national party and not like infiltrators.
