In the holy month of Ramzan, a beautiful scene of brotherhood and harmony was seen on Sunday evening (March 15, 2026) at the Lal Bahadur Shastri (LB) Stadium in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana. A grand Dawat-e-Iftar program was organized in the stadium during Ramzan. In this Iftar, Chief Minister of Telangana State A. Revanth Reddy participated and expressed his solidarity with the Muslim community on the occasion of Ramzan.
Which leaders participated in the program?
State Minority Welfare Minister and former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin as well as National President of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and Lok Sabha MP from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi were also present in this program. While Congress leader Mohammad Ali Shabbir also participated in the iftar. The most remarkable thing about this event was the leaders of the ruling party and the opposition sitting together on the same table.

A large number of people attended this feast-e-iftar organized at Lal Bahadur Shastri (LB) Stadium in Hyderabad. On this holy occasion of Ramzan, all the leaders together broke fast and gave the message of peace, brotherhood and social harmony. The presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy gave special importance to this program and underlined the sensitivity of the state government towards the minority community.
This event was important not only from the religious point of view but also from the political and social point of view, where leaders of different ideologies were seen on a common platform and brought alive the spirit of Ramadan i.e. unity and humanity.
What did the Chief Minister say after attending the program?
After attending the Dawat-e-Iftar program, State Chief Minister Revanth Reddy shared his feelings on social media platform X. He said that Ramadan is not just a festival but a time to purify one’s soul. The culture of Telangana is to maintain brotherhood among people and harmony among religions. We all should together maintain this culture.

He further said that our heart is pure towards the welfare of Muslims. We gave Ajruddin a ministerial post. We gave the post of advisor to senior leader Shabbir Ali. We appointed minority leaders as chairmen in eight corporations. We gave the job of DSP to cricketer Mohammed Siraj and we also encouraged boxer Nikhat Zareen by giving him Rs 2 crore.
