Union Minister Chirag Paswan reached Patna from Delhi on Monday (March 16, 2026). During this, he claimed that all the NDA candidates will win on the five Rajya Sabha seats of Bihar. He said that the way the opposition gradually divided during the voting, voting against each other, all this shows that NDA’s victory is certain. He was talking to journalists at Patna airport.
Chirag was monitoring his MLAs
On one question, three Congress MLAs and one RJD MLA did not vote. On this he said that the absence of one RJD MLA and the disappearance of more than half of the Congress MLAs clearly shows that the opposition is divided. In such a situation, it is impossible to make a claim. He said that since yesterday (March 15, 2026), we were monitoring all our MLAs.
Reached Patna to attend Iftar party

Chirag Paswan attacked Mamata Banerjee
Regarding the elections to be held in many states, Chirag Paswan said, “I had gone to Assam the day before yesterday… NDA government is coming back there. NDA is going to form the government in Bengal in a very good manner… The way Mamata Didi has opposed every decision of the Centre, there is anger among the public on all these issues.
