In response, this young explosive batsman from Bihar told about his dream with great confidence. Vaibhav said that he wants to break Chris Gayle’s historical record of 175 runs in IPL.

Let us tell you, West Indies’ legendary batsman Chris Gayle had made this record against Pune Warriors India while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) during IPL 2013. He scored unbeaten 175 runs in just 66 balls at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, which till date is the highest individual score in the history of T20 cricket.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi created a stir in the Under-19 World Cup

Vaibhav Suryavanshi had created history by scoring 175 runs in just 80 balls against England in the ICC Under-19 World Cup final of 2026. He hit 15 fours and the same number of sixes in this innings. Thanks to this explosive innings of Vaibhav, Team India got a spectacular victory in that title match. Even before this record innings, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has already made many records in his name. Vaibhav is the youngest batsman to score a century in IPL. He created a sensation by scoring a century in just 35 balls for Gujarat Titans in the 2025 IPL season.
