Advance booking of ‘Bhoot Bangla’ started earlier this week and the film gained good momentum through pre-sales. Horror-comedy films usually do not take such huge advance bookings, but still on the strength of Akshay Kumar’s star power, ‘Bhoot Bangla’ sold 1.3 lakh tickets in the pre-sale on its first day.
- According to the report of SACNILC, ‘Bhoot Bangla’ earned Rs 3.32 crore from advance booking on the first day. In such a situation, the film can open in double digits on the first day.
- The film has also got the benefit of paid preview. Let us tell you that the paid previews of the film started on Thursday, April 16 at 9 pm, which was a day before the release of the film.
- Despite being a limited show, Bhoot Bangla performed brilliantly on Thursday and collected a net collection of Rs 3.50 crore from paid previews, much more than expected.

Earlier, Dhurandhar 2 had made a record breaking opening of Rs 145 crore last month.

However, it will not be able to beat Maddock Films’ ‘Stree 2’ (Rs 55 crore) and ‘Thama’ (Rs 24 crore) and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ (Rs 35 crore).
