Tharoor’s reaction came on the statement made when US President Donald Trump shared part of a conservative host’s podcast on social media. In this, the countries of Asia including India and China were described as a place like hell. In this video clip it was said that immigrants come to America during pregnancy to get citizenship for their children. It was also said in this video that anyone born here immediately acquires citizenship.

Apart from this, the lawyers of American Civil Liberties Union were also criticized in this clip. He was described as a goon with a laptop. They were compared to mafia families. There was also talk of harming America.
Kharge had asked a direct question to Modi government
Meanwhile, on this entire matter, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had said on behalf of the US President about sharing this post that PM Modi should take time out from the election campaign and respond to it.
