Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation i.e. IRCTC has started a special luxury tour named ‘India-Bhutan Mystic Mountain Tour’. This journey will be conducted through Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train.
The journey will start from Safdarjung Railway Station
This entire tour will be of 13 nights and 14 days, which will start from Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi from 5th May 2026. AC I, AC II and AC III class facilities will be available for about 150 passengers in this train. The special thing is that passengers can also board this train from stations like Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Kanpur, Lucknow and Varanasi. During the journey, first of all the passengers will reach Guwahati, where they will visit Kamakhya Temple. After this the journey will move towards Shillong and Cherrapunji, where tourists will be able to see beautiful waterfalls like Nohkalikai Falls and Seven Sisters Falls.
Will be able to tour many historical places
After touring the north-eastern part of India, this train will reach Hasimara. From here, passengers will be taken to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan, by road. This tour in Bhutan will cover major cities like Thimphu, Punakha and Paro. Here tourists will be able to visit Tashichho Dzong, Punakha Dzong and the famous Taktsang Monastery i.e. Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Also, experiencing beautiful mountain passes like Dochula Pass will also be a part of this journey.
