Pollard’s world record on Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s target, just 1 step away from creating history

Vaibhav Suryavanshi is making waves in IPL. He bats explosively in every match. Initially questions were raised on his style, whether he just plays lappa, but now he has proved himself. World giants are praising him. He has made and broken many big records in a very short time, now he has come very close to another world record.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi does not take time to settle down, he is known to hit big from the first ball. He has scored 400 runs in IPL 2026, while more than 350 runs have been scored with sixes and fours. In the ongoing season, he has hit 34 fours and 37 sixes (358 runs), whereas he has scored only 42 runs from single-double. Now he can break Kieron Pollard’s world record by hitting a six.

Just one ‘six’ away from the world record

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has scored 1101 runs in 27 innings of T20, which includes 4 centuries and 3 half-centuries. He has hit 99 sixes in T20 so far, he is one hit away from his 100 T20 sixes. He will soon touch this figure also. Currently, the fastest batsman to hit 100 sixes (on the basis of balls) in T20 is Kieron Pollard, but his record Vaibhav is close to breaking.
