Many big companies are preparing to give gifts like dividends, bonus shares and stock split to their investors. It is important for investors to understand that the ‘record date’ holds special significance to avail these benefits. According to the information till January 3, 2026, about 15 companies have made 16 different corporate announcements.
Dividend declarations
Stock market giant TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) has set the record date for its interim dividend as January 17, 2026, while its ex-date will be January 16. Similarly, both CAMS (Computer Age Management Services) and Godrej Consumer Products have finalized the record date of January 30, 2026 for their interim dividend. Jarrow Institute of Technology has decided to pay a dividend of Rs 2 per share, the record date of which is January 16. Apart from this, TAAL Enterprises has also kept its record date on the same day i.e. 16th January.

Orient Technologies has announced to issue bonus shares in the ratio of 1:10, the record date of which is January 5, 2026. Antriksh Industries has also fixed January 9 as the date for 1:10 bonus. At the same time, Best Agrolife will give bonus shares to its investors in the ratio of 1:2, the record date of which has been kept as 16 January 2026.
List of Stock Splits
The main objective of stock split is to increase the liquidity of shares in the market and make them cheaper for small investors. Kotak Mahindra Bank has decided to split its Rs 5 face value shares at Re 1 each (stock split), the record date of which is January 14. Ajmera Reality will do its stock split (Rs 10 to Rs 2) on January 15. A-1 Limited has set the record date for January 8 and SKM Egg Products for January 12. United Van der Horst’s stock split will take place on January 22.

In share buyback, the company buys back its own shares from the market. Fairchem Organics has set the record date for its buyback as January 5, 2026. Apart from this, Energy Infrastructure Trust has chosen the date of January 9, 2026 to give income distribution to investors.
