Pakistan Semi Final Qualification: Can Pakistan go to the semi-finals or not? The simple answer is yes. Pakistan can still make it to the last-4, but this path is very difficult for it. Pakistan has to play its last Super-8 match with Sri Lanka on 28 February, but its future currently depends on the match between England and New Zealand.

England and New Zealand will clash on 27 February. Pakistan team would like New Zealand to get a big defeat at any cost. But England’s victory over New Zealand alone will not be enough for Pakistan to reach the semi-finals. Almost every over has a different equation. On the other hand, Pakistan will have to chase the target against Sri Lanka in 13.5 overs.

Pakistan’s complete semi-final equation

First equation- If England beats New Zealand while chasing with one over remaining. Then Pakistan will have to chase the target against Sri Lanka in 13.5 overs or win by 61 runs or more.

Second equation- England should chase and win by 3 overs in advance. Then Pakistan will have to chase the target against Sri Lanka in 15.1 overs or before or win by 46 runs.

Third equation- England should chase and win in 5 overs first. Then Pakistan will have to win by 28 runs or achieve the target in 16.5 overs.

Fourth equation- England should chase and win by 7 overs in advance. Then Pakistan will have to win by 9 runs or achieve the target within 19 overs.

Fifth equation- If England wins by 1 run. Then Pakistan will have to win by 68 runs or chase the target within 13.3 overs.

Sixth equation- If England wins by 20 runs. Then Pakistan will have to win by 50 runs or achieve the target within 14.5 overs.

Seventh equation- England wins by 40 runs. Then Pakistan will have to win by 30 runs or achieve the target within 16.4 overs.

Eighth equation- England wins by 60 runs. Then Pakistan will have to win by 11 runs or achieve the target within 18.5 overs.
