Due to the ongoing war between America and Iran, the country is facing the threat of shortage of LPG gas. However, the central government has claimed that there is no shortage of any kind in the country. Meanwhile, the opposition created a ruckus in the Parliament on the issue of LPG gas. On Monday (16 March), the opposition also sought answers from the central government regarding this. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that this issue should be discussed in Parliament, but then Union Minister Kiren Rijiju interrupted him. Meanwhile, JP Nadda attacked Congress.
Kharge raised questions on the gas problem in Rajya Sabha. In response to this, Nadda said, ‘Congress is not shying away from doing politics even in times of adversity. This calamity has not come because of India, this crisis has come because of the international situation. Hardeep Puri has said everything about this in the house.
Congress accused of instigating the public
Nadda accused Congress of provoking people. He said, ‘Congress leader has been caught in cylinder hoarding. They have put up hoardings, they are trying to instigate the public. They do not desist from politics in such circumstances.

What did the central government say on the LPG and oil crisis?
Recently, the government has claimed that there has been a decline in domestic LPG refill bookings in the country and it has now reached about 77 lakh, whereas on March 13 it was 88.8 lakh. According to PTI news, the government has said that the supply of petrol, diesel and LPG is completely safe and there is no shortage of any kind.
Let us tell you that there is a war going on between America and Iran for the last several days. Iran has blocked the Strait of Hormuz due to the war. This is the route through which ships from many countries including India pass. However, Iran recently gave passage to two Indian ships. These ships will reach India soon.
