What did CM say about the protest in Valley district?

Addressing the program organized at Wangjing Tentha, the Chief Minister said that he did not face any problem during his visit to the hilly areas, but he was surprised to see the opposition to his visit in the valley district. He said, ‘I recently visited many hill districts, there was no opposition to my visit there but I am surprised by the protests in Thoubal district.’

He said that differences can be resolved through dialogue.

Referring to the incident of death of two children in Tronglaobi in Bishnupur district on April 7, he said that after this incident, all the demands of the Joint Action Committee (JAC) formed by the local people will be fulfilled. “The government is also considering arranging suitable government jobs for the parents of the victims,” he said.
